i've got a problem with my email-server. I installed postfix, mysql, dovecot and postgrey.

when I start the postgrey-process, I get an error in /var/mail.err and /var/log/mail.log

Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: Process Backgrounded
Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: 2012/08/27-10:28:02 postgrey (type Net::Server::Multiplex) starting! pid(17808)
Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: Using default listen value of 128
Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: Binding to TCP port 60000 on host localhost#012
Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: Setting gid to "118 118"
Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: Setting uid to "112"
Aug 27 10:28:02 postgrey[17808]: FATAL: ERROR: locked: /var/lib/postgrey/postgrey.lock#012

what does this error mean?

I already set the permission for postgrey user with chown on this path, but nothing changes

now i've got a new problem in my mail.log

Aug 27 11:08:25 postfix/smtpd[18161]: warning: connect to proxy filter Connection refused

Does the lockfile exist before you start postgrey? If not, remove it and start postgrey. –  pkhamre Aug 27 '12 at 9:02
yes, thank you, after restarting postgrey the error was solved, but now i've got a new error. I edited it in my post –  Sven Jung Aug 27 '12 at 9:12
