From one of my development server i am trying to Create a new Unix user in webmin , through XML-RPC calls. The base URL is "http://yourserver:10000/xmlrpc.cgi".

Here the yourserver is not the development server that i have mentioned before. In that scenario i am getting the error

Method call failed : unknown RPC type `h1' at line 1 column 0

If i am trying from the same servers , it is creating with out any issue.

Try it with https://yourserver:10000/xmlrpc.cgi.

Webmin traffic is handled over https. The error indicates that the XML-RPC is trying to parse a web page with an H1, which is probably not the login page.
