I'm wondering if someone could find among their old manuals some basic specifications for Detewe Varix 2000 exchange - like power usage, number of supported phones, ports, lines, trunks, basic information on extension boards etc.

I was assigned to reason why this almost 19 years old PBX should be replaced at our customer's. Well, it sure has been surpassed in many obvious ways that I can explain, but I also need the specs as written by the producer (bought by Aastra in 2005).

Google remains silent, the PBX is just too old to have been documented on the web.

Thanks a lot if there's a good soul in possession of those specs :-)

The lack of manuals and support means: that when it does break, there's nobody who can fix it. You could try calling the company, but the only phone number I found for them was a premium line costing 0,62€/minute which probably rings in Sri Lanka or somewhere near there. How long can the company be without phones? If the answer is "not very long" then you should replace it as soon as possible. – Michael Hampton Aug 28 '12 at 19:12
