I am trying to decide between supervisord and god for monitoring. I see lot of positive vibes for supervisor. On the other hand god provides the full power of ruby.

Supervisor starts the processes as subprocess, does it is able to better track them. Does god does something similar, or it just monitors the pid file like monit which is not as reliable?
