Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

When I testing my domain with intodns.com it shows the recursive query problem, saying that "You should not have nameservers that allow recursive queries as this will allow almost anyone to use your nameservers and can cause problems" .

How could I resolve this problem?

"Disable recursion" would be the obvious answer, but you'll get much more useful answers if you give more detail on how you have set up your DNS server. –  ThatGraemeGuy Sep 19 '12 at 11:17

If you add what DNS software and version you are using (such as Bind 9 or PowerDNS 3) then the answer might include the exact line you need to put in your config. –  Ladadadada Sep 19 '12 at 11:35
