I was using Joomla! 1.5 site on my WAMP server, it was working fine. Then I had to install window 8 and started working on IIS. IIS is currently listening my port 80. When I re-installed WAMP server and changed the port number for Apache to 8888 in httpd.conf and restarted it. The WAMP icon is red and never turned to orange or green i.e. localhost:8888 is not being listened by Apache server. What can be the reasons ?
