I was researching some ways with which we can be secure from man in the middle attacks in a wireless network.

One way i came across was using Out-of band frequency. Another way i came across was by using a new protocol called TEP - in band wireless pairing.

so my first question is

1) Are there any other ways with which one can be secured from MITM attacks (in wireless) ?

2) Can TEP be improved ? If yes where ?

Are there any other ways with which one can be secured from MITM attacks - encryption + PKI. – Zoredache Oct 10 '12 at 17:15

Generally we prefer practical answerable questions based on actual problems. Your question doesn't really seem to be asked in a practical way. – Zoredache Oct 10 '12 at 17:32

Also, these kinds of questions will likely get a better reception on security.stackexchange.com – sysadmin1138 Oct 10 '12 at 18:01

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.
