What is cpuinfo telling me?

On my current server, when I do cat /proc/cpuinfo, I get:

E3-1230 @ 3.2ghz / 1600mhz

and there are 8 of these.

Does this mean there are 2x quad core processors? I've looked everywhere and I'm not able to find anywhere else.

The CPU has 4 Cores and 8 Threads. cpuinfo shows you logical CPUs so it shows you the 8 Threads of which every two share a core.
