Please, look to the file /var/log/apache/error.log, you will find better clue... – Jan Marek Oct 22 '12 at 15:19
The solution in bitly.com/PMqLWw vi /etc/apache2/mods-available/suphp.conf – Alexd2 Oct 22 '12 at 15:28
You need to give us something to go on here - your question as it stands now is the equivalent of standing on the roof of your car and screaming "IT WONT GO! MAKE IT GO!" at people walking by. Please look at your Apache logs (Jan pointed you in the right direction) and make at least a first pass determination of what's wrong. If you still can't solve the problem on your own update your question and leave a comment for me and I'll re-open it. See also this Meta topic – voretaq7 Oct 22 '12 at 15:28
voretaq7 just gave the solution to the 500 error after updating ubuntu – Alexd2 Oct 22 '12 at 15:32
Ah yes, install dovecot. That always fixes my Apache 500 Internal server errors. This question will never help any future visitors in its current state. – Ladadadada Oct 22 '12 at 15:45
