I set up automount to muont a folder from a NAS, I called it /mnt/cifs_shares/my_fs

[root@localhost Me]# ls -la /mnt/cifs_shares/
ls: impossibile accedere a /mnt/cifs_shares/my_fs: No such file or directory
totale 4
drwxr-xr-x. 4 root root    0 17 nov 19:30 .
drwxr-xr-x. 5 root root 4096 24 ott 11:44 ..
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root    0 17 nov 19:30 kernel_cache
d?????????? ? ?    ?       ?            ? my_fs
[root@localhost Me]# 

do you see the line for my_fs ? What is that ?

You seem to have wrong setup of your automount and/or your NAS is currently unavailable –  Kamil ┼árot Nov 18 '12 at 9:30
the NAS is available. I can reach it through FUSE –  user1632812 Nov 18 '12 at 12:09
And what is in logs? This is normal in case, the mounted filesystem is not available for some reason... –  Kamil ┼árot Nov 18 '12 at 12:21
