I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the above setup.

I have an EC2 instance (Large) running the above setup and it appears to be working....OK.

I have been monitoring the application with NewRelic for a month or so now and one thing I have noticed is the actual time "PHP" is taking to respond to requests is around 1200ms.

Does anyone have any tips for increasing the speed of php? Or is 1200ms a reasonable response time for an commerce websites php component?

Thanks guys

You need to add a bit more information than that. e.g. Are you running a LAMP stack, etc. There could be many factors increasing the response time, it could even be badly written SQL,etc, etc. – Danie Dec 7 '12 at 6:23
