In my sys log I sometimes see this message:
success resolving 'ns.macomnet.ru/AAAA' (in 'macomnet.ru'?) after reducing the advertised EDNS UDP packet size to 512 octets
I am not using those name servers for anything linked on my server. Bind seems to be contacting them for some reason, but I am not sure why since I have no dns configured for russia.
pdfedelivery@galaxy:~$ cat /etc/resolv.conf nameserver 127.0.0.1 nameserver 188.8.131.52 nameserver 184.108.40.206
My resolve conf seems appropriate. It lists my primary dns and a secondary dns from my host, crucial paradigm and both are in australia.
Any idea's how I can find out why I keep getting that log message
I am in Australia, on ubuntu 10, VPS.
