I just added my first scheduled task to the Task Scheduler in Windows Server 2008 R2 via Action / Create Basic Task... wizard. I noticed that by default it gets stored within a "folder" named WPD.
What does "WPD" mean ?
I also noticed I can create new folders subordinate to the selected folder. I suspect a best practice might be to create descriptive folders?
What are the pros and cons of creating new folders versus using this WPD thing?
