strawberry perl cannot locate switch.pm and thus is aborting operation. Online sources via research says that switch.pm is depreciated.

Help, what do i do now?

if i downgrade to a lower version of perl, what should i choose?

pulledpork.pl. Sounds delicious, but what has this to do with professional systems administration? –  EEAA Jan 14 '13 at 18:02

@EEAA It is delicious, and it has plenty to do with professional system administration. Though I question the wisdom of running snort on Windows... –  Michael Hampton Jan 14 '13 at 18:04

@MichaelHampton - interesting name. :) I think maybe I'll start naming my scripts after various BBQed meats. Thanks for setting me straight. –  EEAA Jan 14 '13 at 18:07

Have you tried to install the Switch module via CPAN? –  Mark Wagner Jan 14 '13 at 18:50

Agree with Mark - there are better ways in modern Perl, but it will still work if you install it. –  dsolimano Jan 15 '13 at 14:25
