I´m having a software raid 5 with 5 2TB members. After partitioning with gparted, my RAID doesn´t work any more... How can I check the consisty of each member?

What would be my options, if the partition tables of the members were broken?

The sequence of events is not clear. Does the RAID have data you want to recover on it? What did you go in gparted? Was this the initial partition to get it to work in the first place? Any reason not to just start over? –  David Schwartz Jan 16 '13 at 8:10
Yes, I would like to recover my data on it. Gparted told some weird stuff about the GPT partition tables on the member disk, and that gparted restored the backup of my partition tables. I have no idea, what gparted did, but I haven´t initiated that.... thx for you reply :) –  Nicolas Nox Jan 16 '13 at 21:51
