RTFM, I understand squid parse servers' http headers and it understands how to cache / don't cache the web pages and resources ( images, etc... ).
So, a long time ago, there were poor written / configured web servers with not RFC' compliant http headers : squid cannot understand the resource timespan and so squid' developers put this safe rule :
refresh_pattern (cgi-bin|\?) 0 0% 0
I put a remark in front of this, restart squid : both our squid server and LAN users ( 1200 ) seem to work happily.
Can anyone confirm nowadays this specific rule is outdated ?
I cannot google any reference ...
