I recently moved my domain in a split-horizon architecture with zone updates via TSIG. I have a problem with the notify from the master server. All slaves receives the "NOTIFY" from the master. But, they do not update the zone until the refresh time is expired! In the log files, I see the NOTIFY and then I see the following message:
zone mydomain.com/IN: notify from 10.10.10.1#6557: refresh in progress, refresh check queued
Why is this happening? If I am not mistaken, NOTIFY RFC says that the slave server has to ask the master about the change.
Is there any way (except of tcpdumpm) to log that request?
