I have installed Java and Tomcat with Jenkins on a CentOS 5. Everything works fine. The issue is when I make another Jenkins installation on the same server, it causes unexpected High Loads. If I remove the other Jenkins installation the load is absolutely normal. I read somewhere that if one would like to install multiple Java applications on the same server they must configure multiple TOMCAT as well. Is this correct ? To run two simultaneous Jenkins installation, do I need 2 Tomcat servers on the same CentOS server ?

Can you expand on why you want to have multiple Jenkins instances on the same server ? It makes configuration and maintenance much more complicated than using a separate server for each instance. –  gareth_bowles Jan 29 '13 at 17:50
Actually I was just checking this if its possible. Also I do want to run MeshCMS on the same machine. Its also a Java software and when installed with Jenkins is causes a VERY high load. –  user1066991 Jan 30 '13 at 11:57
