Hi I have been having issues opening ports on my new router. I am able to use UPnP perfectly fine it will open ports for its clients. also I am able to set remote management of the router on any port and when I use the tool at https://www.grc.com/ it shows open. But when I add ports to be forwarded manually and run the port checker they come back as closed but not stealth. when I remove them they come back as stealth. This is very frustrating because I would like to open a few ports. How do I set the ports to be open instead of just closed and not stealth.

thanks!

You did set them open. You're just testing from the inside and you opened them to access from the outside. If you test from the outside, you'll see that they're open.
