I have a client running sbs2008, with Exchange 2007, they are using public folders and somehow have a couple of folders which appear to have got caught in a loop.
\ (root folder)
I've tried to expand the list and run out of screen in outlook, its at least 100-200 deep. When I use folder size on the properties outlook just keeps counting.
I've tried deleting using outlook and get the message advising there are more than 4000 items and unable to delete.
I've tried using Exchange's Management Console and
[PS] C:\Windows\System32>remove-publicfolder -Identity "\Accountants" -Recurse: $True
Remove-PublicFolder: The folder '\Accountants' or some of its subfolder(s) encountered errors and could not be deleted. At line:1 char:20+ remove-publicfolder <<<< -Identity "\Accountants" -Recurse: $True
Can you recommend a resolution, otherwise I'll have to copy the other folders in the public folders and delete the entire store.
Thanks in advance.
