Firstly - we use AWS Route53 for DNS.
We have a development domain with it's own ELB for testing/development. Route 53 drives all (via wildcard*) to that ELB.
This has worked fine whilst developers are working on the same branch but we're beginning to do more work on quite separate stuff and on the same domains.
Unfortunately, simple host redirects don't work as much of this is HTTPS (hence the use of ELBs, which are terminating 443 through to 80 on ec2 boxes).
My question is how can I have multiple * wildcards and route specific developers to different ones? Obviously LBR (Latency Based Routing) does this for latency, weighted does this for A/B testing and simple round-robin moves but how can I do this at a developer level?
Basically to get the situation where one developer has their own box to work on. Using the same domains/sub-domains.
