I have an email account which I want to forward copies of messages received to two different individuals at my company. To help organize these forwarded messages I set up a outlook rule that says "if mail arrives from XX@YY.com then move to Inbox\MailFromXXYY".
I ran some tests with this by emailing the XX@YY.com address and the emails forwarded along and kept a copy on the server as I had intended. However, when the emails arrived to my users' outlook instead of the FROM field specifying xx@yy.com, it had my email address instead.
It appears that in the act of forwarding the header is not modified and if that does not happen then my rule will never pick up the email when it arrives to my users.
Is this the standard message header behavior when something is forwarded? Is this just something I cannot do when I forward emails?
