Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

As the title says our network node manager will not start all the services. It seems to fail at nmdbmgr. I have looked through the logs and searched Google but most of the information I find people say to look in logs we do not have. I imagine we do not have these logs because the service have never actualled started. The only errors I do see is a permissions error which I have corrected and postgresql not starting. Server is running RHEL

Check to see if your database is intact or even created. Were you connected to the domain prior to installing? NNM is one of the worst programs I have worked with as far as installation goes and a lot can go wrong. Make sure everything is exact your license key file. It looks for IP address, MAC address, and your domain. It MUST be the same. Also, check to make sure this directory contains files /var/opt/OV/shared/nnm/databases/Postgres (Off the top of my head I think that's the right directory) – JMeterX Feb 11 at 14:40
