when I try to start the Office SharePoint Search Service , it gets stuck on Starting. I have tried stoping it using stsadm and then trying on the GUI again to start it but no luck.

I had my index and query on my only WFE server and I was able to start all services with no issues. But now I want to move index and query to a new server.

Any ideas?
