I am trying to start resque with Monit and monitor it. I modified the default config so it will look for my user ruby etc, but monit wont even write to its log that its starting it.
check process resque_test with pidfile user/tmp/pids/resque_test.pid start program = "/usr/bin/env HOME=/home/user PATH=/home/user/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p358/bin:/home/user/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p358@global/bin:/home/user/.rvm/rubies/ruby-1.8.7-p358/bin:/home/user/.rvm/bin:/usr/bin:$PATH /bin/sh -l -c 'cd something-live/; nohup bundle exec rake environment resque:work RAILS_ENV=production QUEUE=test VERBOSE=1 PIDFILE=/data/applications/something-live/tmp/pids/resque_test.pid >> /data/logs/applications/something-live/resque_test.log 2>&1'" as uid user and gid group stop program = "/bin/sh -c 'something-live/ && kill -9 $(cat /data/applications/something-live/tmp/pids/resque_test.pid) && rm -f /data/applications/something-live/tmp/pids/resque_test.pid; exit 0;'" if does not exist then start #if totalmem is greater than 300 MB for 10 cycles then restart # eating up memory? group resque_workers
Is it looking like it should work? What am I doing wrong?
