Server Fault is a question and answer site for system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've got 4 network interfaces eth0, eth1, eth2, eth3 monitored by the munin 1.4.5 if_ plugin. On eth0 the graphs show realistic value for the traffic (800kpbs)

On all the others interfaces the values are juste crazy : per example 114Mbps for eth2 (quite unused interface) munin-run gives good values :

root@PROD:/etc/munin# munin-run if_eth2
down.value 2669807
up.value 656

the network interface type is vmxnet3 (esxi 5)

Any help is much appreciated.

This is unlikely the root cause of the problem. The world would be better served by you letting us know the actual fix. – Scott Pack Mar 16 '13 at 13:58
