I have a web server: ubuntu nginx+uwsgi+postgresql and a stats server: where munin2 is installed.

The nginx app server has nginx-1.2.1 with ngx_pagespeed module installed by compilation, taken from here https://github.com/pagespeed/ngx_pagespeed.git

In munin I see a high growth of writing connections.

If I restart nginx, the writing connections go back to stable, but then at some point they raise again.

This is the munin graph

nginx writing connection raise

The other munin graphs are stable, like always, mem is ok, cpu also.

Does anyone know how can I see where this came from and what should I do to fix it?

Does this occur with vanilla nginx without the ngx_pagespeed module? –  Danack Mar 17 '13 at 3:16

Good question... I've never tried. –  jperelli Mar 17 '13 at 15:47
