Are there any errors in the log of the server that Squid is making the request from? It resetting the connection is likely a problem with that server, not the Squid server. –  Shane Madden Mar 23 '13 at 19:35
I have hosting with godaddy, they kept me on call for 5 hours, yes 5 hours, but they couldn't find any solution. Any idea what should I tell them? –  Rushabh Mar 24 '13 at 4:25
Do you have access to the error logs of the server that Squid is pointing to? –  Shane Madden Mar 24 '13 at 5:05
no, i just have access to php errors and access logs, i went through all of it, but nothing over there –  Rushabh Mar 24 '13 at 5:20
Try to break the process of page in multiple parts and enable some local debug hooks, logging. Chances are that it's waiting for some (external)? resource. See if something is different in local scenario and remote scenario. Maybe you're referencing some resource via some name which can be resolved locally, but not remotely or something. And, 15s is likely the server-side PHP timeout. –  abbe Mar 24 '13 at 12:41
