After playing around with named on CentOS 6.4 I have encountered the following problem: - Windows 7 Client can resolve names via nslookup, but Browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome) cant

Configuration file (etc/named.conf): http://pastebin.com/rhEpcDbn

iptables Rules done:

iptables -I INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 53 -m state --state NEW -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT -i eth0 -p udp --dport 53 -m state --state NEW -j ACCEPT

I am new to bind and would appreciate any help.

If the operating system can resolve DNS queries, but the browser cannot on the system, then the issue is not with your bind server, but the operating system or browser config itself. –  Eirik Toft Mar 29 '13 at 17:11
what is in log files? increase verbosity level. try running tcpdump and check traffic. –  Guntis Mar 29 '13 at 17:13
