Since we installed the update 1 of TFS2012, our build server wasn't working. Yesterday, we install the update 2, hoping that it was gonna fix the issue but it doesn't help. So here's the problem.
When trying to configure a new Build Controller into the TFS Admin Console, after setting all require parameter, I click ok to confirm and create the build controller. Then, the build Controller appear in the admin console with the Stopped status. Few second later the status change to Initializing and then, it completely dissapear. We can repeat this process as many time a we wan't and we always have this behavior.
It already tried these solutions :
Without any success. I also tried to unregister and register back the Build Service and it doesn't solve anything neither...
Unfortunately, there's not much information in the windows event viewer. Everything looks to be cool in there. The only thing I can get from there is this event wich seems to be related :
One or more exceptions occurred while starting build machine vstfs:///Build/ServiceHost/33. See the ProcessExceptions property for more details. Method not found: 'Void Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Build.Workflow.BuildEnvironment..ctor(Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Build.Client.HostEnvironmentOption, System.String, System.String)'. Method not found: 'Void Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Build.Workflow.BuildEnvironment..ctor(Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Build.Client.HostEnvironmentOption, System.String, System.String)'.
We are running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Fully updated.
Thanks in advance for any help provided. I'm also available if you need more information.
