Even when i stop the daemon on port 10031, still postfix sends emails without any issues.

Shouldn't you have a line in master.cf for 127.0.0.1:10031 ? –  NickW Apr 23 '13 at 11:55

do i have to add new line to it? because cluebringer already has an instance running on 127.0.0.1:10031, i just have to pass email delievery through this –  Farhan Apr 23 '13 at 12:04

Yeah, master.cf is where you define things like that, you can also assign special behavior to things, if you want to use tls on smtps but not smtp for example. So you do need to tell postfix exactly how to contact that piece of code. –  NickW Apr 23 '13 at 12:07

I may not be completely correct here, you may not need the master.cf entry. –  NickW Apr 23 '13 at 12:18

What is in the sdd_transport_maps? –  NickW Apr 23 '13 at 12:24
