I'm looking for a centrally administered automatic archival mechanism (product or service) for a google-docs-for-business instance. Ideally it would:
- allow self-service restoration (i.e., a user could retried their own lost content),
- convert the any google-native content to some format that would be usable off-line (e.g., convert the google docs to open-doc format),
- automatically produce reports/notifications indicating progress/statistics.
Am I too far ahead of the curve in expecting something like this to exist?
