# Using ssh-copy-id with password specified

Is there anyway we can specify password within ssh-copy-id command so we don't have to enter the prompt.

FYI: What I'm trying to do is writing a simple task in capistrano to authorize the current working key to a linux server. I find that it's not quite robust if we have to enter password manually.

p/s: sshpass is not a solution since brew doesn't accept it.

You're supposed to set this up in advance. What are you actually trying to do? –  Michael Hampton Apr 29 '13 at 22:23
@MichaelHampton Thanks for your concern. I just updated my question :) –  nXqd Apr 29 '13 at 22:53
