been trying to solve this ftp error for a while, im using vsftpd in centos and i get the error whenever i upload something on my ftp users directory.

i have chmod 777 /home/ftp directory and assigned the users by issuing chown ftp:ftpgroup /home/ftp

vsftpd config: write_enabled=YES

Issued SELINUX command:

setsebool -p ftp_home_dir 1

can someone direct me what else am i missing here?

[EDIT] i just restarted my server and its working now. thanks to that random someone who suggested doing it

Is there anything enlightening in vsftp's log (probably /var/log/vsftpd.log? Do you have xferlog_enable` switched on? – Flup May 7 '13 at 14:56
yes, but i dont have the /var/log/vsftpd.log, only /var/log/exerlog. im getting /home/ftpuser/test.txt a_i r ftpuser ft 0 * i not sure what that means – user1933824 May 7 '13 at 15:03
