I have a Windows 8 Pro machine running Hyper-V, and several virtual machines.
I am getting the issue that has been discovered whereby you occasionally get an error message when creating/editing/starting a virtual machine with regards to the user account not having log on as service rights.
Microsoft's suggested solution is to add the Virtual Machines user to the "Log on as service" access right in group policy.
I am logged on as a domain admin, and have administrative rights on my local machine, but I am unable to edit this policy.
My question is, what permissions do I need in order to edit this policy, and any others that are secured?
