I'm not really a network professional, but as an analyst-programmer in a small start-up, I have a lot of network-related work to do.
I currently have to set up a VPN between our Sierra Wireless AirLink GX400 (deployed in various locations, used to make the communication with radars and cameras) and our office Cisco RV082.
This is because the IP on the carrier 3G network is private and can't be accessed from a remote location, and we must query devices connected to the AirLink remotely. Having it on a VPN would make this possible.
Now, I just don't know how to make it happen ... I set up a working VPN on the Cisco Router under "VPN Client Access", installed QuickVPN on another computer (in another location) and it connects flawlessly.
But of course I can't install this on the AirLink router. So I must set up the connection manually, but I really don't know how.
Does anyone know how to set up such thing (if it is possible, of course)? If it's not possible, or if it's not the best way to do it, how else could I make the connection between our deployed devices and our servers?
