Whenever I get either a 500 error, or a 403 error, on nginx the errors aren't logging.
I have this in my global conf (not in a block):
The access log is in the same directory, and works just fine. The directories are all 777 (var, log, nginx). error.log is 644, with same ownership as the access log.
I've checked my domain's error log also (I wasn't sure where server errors should go, I know php errors go in the domain's error log), and the 500/403 errors aren't appearing there, either. I thought no errors were appearing there, but just now two open() errors popped up about missing image resources.
What could be the problem here? Any ideas of things to try? Thank you!
Update: not all php errors are logging, either. I've set catch_workers_output = yes in my php-fpm conf, and restarted php-fpm, but I'm still getting php errors buffered, showing up all at once from time to time. What could this be? Thanks!
