First off I would like to link to a question that pertains to how I go to this question, so that those who may be able to help might follow my work flow. See my last question here:
I will share with you what I have done, and then share my question.
I have installed SVN and created a directory for my
repo located at
/svn/dts_staging. Then, per my question above, I have checked out and imported my
/vaw/www... I can now remotely connect to my
Linux server (where
SVN is installed) from any
SVN client. I can
commit. So .. All appears well. Except...
When I go to the physical directory
/var/www... and look at the file I have
checked out, changed and
committed ... The changes do not appear there. However if I re-open said file with the client, the changes are there, and the notes for file version are there.
With that said, why are my changes not being saved to the physical files once
committed? Am I missing a step in the file
checkin process? Or did I make a mistake when creating the
