Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

We installed QGIS, a GIS application which we use internally, on many computers using SCCM, and this caused icons to be placed on users' desktops.

Is it possible to delete the desktop icons we installed (QGIS Browser, QGIS Desktop, GRASS GIS, msys) using GPOs?

@DevdattaTengshe I think this could be more suitable for the OSGeo mailing list –  dassouki Jun 25 '13 at 12:29
