I'm trying to configure OpenVPN in the following way:
Subnet1: 10.4.1.0/24 (group1) Subnet2: 10.4.2.0/24 (group2)
I need the two groups to be able to communicate with each other, but I'd like to keep the separate and also use 'fixed IPs' for the clients.
What I did so far is getting OpenVPN working fine, as long as it assigns it's own IP.
server 10.4.0.0 255.255.255.0 route 10.4.1.1 255.255.255.0 route 10.4.2.1 255.255.255.0
ifconfig-push 10.4.1.1 10.4.1.2 to the clients but didn't work. The client gets the IP assigned by the ccd but can not ping the server or other clients.
I tried following this openvpn guide. I'm a bit confused as what must be performed from here on, routing is performed by OpenVPN apparently so, do I need to work with OpenVPN or adjust the routes at FreeBSD?
