Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

We have a website that recently changed hosting and we changed the DNS at the same time. For some reason my local Windows 2003 Server keeps trying to cache the old Name Server. If I Clear Cache we can connect to the website for a little while, sometimes a day and some times only hours, before it picks up the old Name Server. Anyone have any idea why it is doing this and how to get it to stop?

Website is not hosted locally.

If I plug directly into the Modem/Router it will find the site correctly.

Thanks,

John

Did I ask in the wrong place? Could really use some help and feel like I'm missing something obvious. –  John Jul 12 '13 at 15:02
