I want to stop the paralles power panel from running on Port 4643 without stopping all services. For the Parallels Plesk Panel it worked with

 /etc/init.d/psa stop

I do not want to "stopall" the pararllels services, just this one. Does somebode have a clue?

My running services are:

[ + ] apache2 [ + ] bind9 [ - ] bootlogd [ ? ] console-screen.sh [ + ] courier-imap [ ? ] cron [ - ] exim4 [ ? ] fetchmail [ ? ] hostname [ ? ] hostname_vps [ ? ] hwclock [ ? ] hwclock-save [ ? ] keymap.sh [ ? ] killprocs [ - ] klogd [ ? ] libpam-foreground [ ? ] mailman [ ? ] module-init-tools [ ? ] modules_dep.sh [ ? ] mysql [ ? ] network-interface [ ? ] network-interface-security [ ? ] networking [ ? ] ondemand [ + ] pc-remote [ ? ] plymouth [ ? ] plymouth-log [ ? ] plymouth-splash [ ? ] plymouth-stop [ ? ] portmap [ ? ] portmap-boot [ ? ] portmap-wait [ + ] postfix [ ? ] procps [ + ] psa [ ? ] psa-firewall [ ? ] psa-firewall-forward [ + ] psa-spamassassin [ + ] quota [ - ] quotarpc [ ? ] rc.local [ - ] rsync [ ? ] saslauthd [ ? ] screen-cleanup [ ? ] sendsigs [ ? ] spamassassin [ + ] ssh [ ? ] stop-bootlogd [ ? ] stop-bootlogd-single [ ? ] svnserve [ ? ] sw-cp-server [ + ] sysklogd [ ? ] udev [ ? ] udev-finish [ ? ] udevmonitor [ ? ] udevtrigger [ ? ] umountfs [ ? ] umountnfs.sh [ ? ] umountroot [ - ] urandom [ ? ] vzquota [ ? ] vzreboot [ - ] wide-dhcpv6-client [ + ] xinetd

it would be also possible to close a port or is this a bad idea? –  slaver113 Aug 8 '13 at 7:12
