Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I did man pfctl, but I have to admit, it's way over my head. I'm not a server admin. I know my way around *NIX, but pfctl is confusing to me.

From my understanding tho, I can use that to make dev.foo.com:9292 (localhost:9292, but mapped in my hosts to dev.foo.com) map to dev.foo.com.

If it matters, I'm on OS X.
