I have a TCP proxy run at a X86 server with Windows server 2003 SP2 system. This TCP proxy will accept about 1K TCP connection and transfer data to a local TCP server. That means there will be about 2K TCP connection in that server.
After I start the proxy in that server, server will refuse all remote connections after several minutes, either remote desktop connection or web request. But the server is not crash, because I can kill that process locally after the server refuse all remote connections.
I've try to print the netstat result before the server refuse connections, that shows the tcp connections number is less than 3K, so the port should not be exhausted, I've also check network use, the network utilization is about 1%. So I don't why the server refuse all network connection suddenly.
Is anyone can give me some tips about how to find out where is the problem?
