When importing an SQLite database into MySQL I have repeatedly encountered the problem that encrypted passwords (even when copied manually) do not work anymore. Everything else works fine, but all passwords have to be reset.

Does anyone know the reason and / or how I can avoid this?

How did you write the passwords to the database in the first place? –  Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams Aug 20 '13 at 11:38

LiveConfig ( liveconfig.com/en ) provides a dump file directly after installation on debian. At first I thought it was a problem with the file and I reinstalled the server, but it happened again. So I thought it was a problem with LiveConfig. But my workmate, who followed the instructions (creating a dump and importing it into MySQL) at fabianpeter.de/cloud/owncloud-migrating-from-sqlite-to-mysql to migrate an OwnCloud SQLite database to MySQL encountered the exact same problem. We both would actually really need a solution. –  David Aug 20 '13 at 11:54
