So i have an apache configured with mad_fastcgi ( i need FastCGIExternalServer )
I am running ubuntu 12.04
The problem is when i add mores vhosts i get this error from mod_fastcgi
[Tue Sep 17 11:10:40 2013] [error] [client 10.5.4.3] (2)No such file or directory: FastCGI: failed to connect to server "/dev/shm/v_user-php.fastcgi": socket file descriptor (1163) is larger than FD_SETSIZE (1024), you probably need to rebuild Apache with a larger FD_SETSIZE
When rebuilding i use apt-get source apache2 and dpkg-buildpackage
I tried rebuild apache changing this files:
/usr/include/linux/posix_types.h:#define __FD_SETSIZE 1024 /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/bits/typesizes.h:#define __FD_SETSIZE 1024
I put 4096 and recompile. Didn't work, the error persists.
I also have change all defines FD_SETSIZE in the apache source dir, to 4096, recompile again, same errors.
What should i do to apache see the right number?
I also have tried to compile mod_fastcgi and when i do i get apache bufferoverflow when i have all vhosts on.
Here is my vhost confs
