  • Uniform Server - 8-Coral on Windows 2003 Server.
  • Apache/2.4.3 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1c PHP/5.4.9

When I start the Apache service everything works fine. Both HTTP and HTTPS respond.

After a while, HTTPS stops responding. Port 443 stays open, but any attempt to get an https URL from the server fails with "Connection reset".

Restarting the service... well, restarts the secret-timer-for-ssl-to-fail.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Ooops. The title duplicated HTTPS.

Do you get any response? I've faced with that problem too. But, in my case for few connections to ssl server working fine. When the visitors became 5, 6 or more the server couldn't working... – user199326 Nov 14 '13 at 8:34
Just on a hunch: check your worker consumption, max-client settings etc. I had a similar problem which was related to those and easily solved. mod_status can help you with monitoring this. – ErikE Nov 14 '13 at 9:50
