I know SOCKS5 protocol has UDP support. I'm making a client software that uses UDP and I am working on proxy support. My final goal is to connect through SSH dynamic tunnels. I thought some SSH clients might not support UDP in their SOCKS5 implementation but I didn't find information about it. I don't either know if SSH servers (OpenSSH?) support it.
I am aware of methods of doing static UDP tunnels but I want dynamic proxying, not static tunnels. This is an example of what I am not looking for: http://www.qcnetwork.com/vince/doc/divers/udp_over_ssh_tunnel.html
If there is no way to do it I would appreciate it if you would tell me why.
