Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am admittedly an IIS 7 newbie, but I cannot seem to get PHP to function in IIS 7. I installed it with the web platform installer, but no PHP pages are browseable, they all give 500 errors with no details in the logs. Whereas, if I browse just the folder that the a file is contained in (if its not index.php) I can see the folder structure, so it doesn't seem to be a permissions issue.

If I view the options in a given site (test), right click on PHP manager, select basic settings, and choose "Test Settings" I get an errror that says:

Invalid Application Path

Any ideas, I've been toying with this for hours and read every article I can find, but don't seem to be getting anywhere.
