Server Fault is a question and answer site for system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I figured it was my best shot as google and ircd-hybrid's website haven't helped me much. So here goes:

I have a server running ircd-hybrid and hybserv2, now all I want to do is to mask hostnames, so instead of showing ip's or whatever, it shows whatever I want it to.

Like user@domain.com instead of user@65.676.xxx.423, does anyone have any ideas?

Sorry for the bother but i decided to get rid of ircd-hybrid because it wasn't working very well, i switched to UnrealIRCd and Anope Services, it worked much better and did everything i needed. –  Brian Sykes Oct 4 '13 at 19:18

Unrealircd is indeed much better, but anope development is dead (consider switching to atheme). –  Falcon Momot Oct 5 '13 at 4:14
